Canine Unifursity Dog Training

We sent our 11-month-old Cane Corso, Tater, to Kaylee and Jake for a two-week board and train, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! He stayed right in their home, which made such a big difference compared to a big facility — you can tell he was treated like part of the family. Our main focus was refreshing obedience and working through some anxiety and fear-based reactivity. The progress he made in just two weeks is amazing. Kaylee was super communicative the whole time with updates a few times a week and always willing to answer questions. What we loved most was how she tailored everything to our dog — not a one-size-fits-all program. She really understood his personality and helped him gain confidence while teaching us how to keep things consistent at home. We recently completed a 3-week board and train program at Canine Unifursity with our dog, Bella, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Boy oh boy, I do not even know where to start!! Tess is our first puppy and let me tell you, WE had a lot more learning to do than she did! We did not even know where to begin with training. We are so lucky to have found Kaylee and her whole team!! They have really tapped into Tess’ potential and she is an incredible pup – and still learning every day!! We completed her off leash training recently (I think that marks three total weeks of training, give or take a few days), and we love the idea that we can bring her back for refresher weeks to sharpen her skills. It is so nice to have her attentive on walks, responding to recall, and the “place” command has been invaluable!! She does that very, very well. I have to confess, that I am not the most diligent trainer, but that makes us even more grateful for Kaylee and the crew! They have trained us as much as they have trained our pup, and we are slowly and steadily working more with Tess at home. More than anything we are at peace knowing that Tess is happy, well taken care of and loved while we are not with her. Several times we had question after we picked Tess up and Kaylee always responded quickly with thorough explanations and made herself available to help us in an ongoing nature which we really, really appreciate (and need!).
