“Even after such a short stint, I picked up a completely different dog. I was referred to Andrea through multiple friends after a disastrous trip to Oregon with my English Setter puppy Finn. To start, we did a week long board/train where Andrea introduced an e-collar, which I was extremely nervous to do by myself. Even after such a short stint, I picked up a completely different dog. We continued training through 1:1 sessions where we focused on recall, place work, settling, playing with other dogs; so much stimuli. Andrea’s background includes over 20 years in the animal industry, starting as a veterinary assistant in 2003 and founding Canyons Canine Training in 2021 after managing board and train programs in Pennsylvania. She is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and holds continuing education credits in canine behavior, e-collar use, and trainer development.
