About the Trainer

Cedar Mountain Retrievers, run by the Diettert Family, began with the addition of their first Labrador Retriever, Remington “Remi.” After rediscovering their love for the breed and Remi’s exceptional drive and hunting skills, they established a breeding program focused on providing high-drive, trainable hunting dogs with great temperaments suitable for family life.

In addition to breeding services, which include providing studs from established pedigrees and CMR puppies, they offer dog training services. These services encompass Basic Obedience, Foundation/Beginner Gun Dog Training, and Advanced Gun Dog Training. They operate as a small kennel, limiting client dogs to a small group at a time to ensure maximum attention and focus on each dog’s needs and client desires.

Their Labradors are well-rounded, participating in AKC and UKC events annually, involved in family hunting and outfitting events, and living as true members of the Diettert household. Cedar Mountain Retrievers aims to develop both owners and dogs, providing a solid foundation for dogs to become great field and hunting partners, as well as dependable family members.
