Central Missouri Canine Solutions offers customizable training programs focusing on building a strong relationship between the owner and dog. Their methods primarily use Positive Reinforcement and Negative Punishment to establish engagement and teach desired behaviors.
Puppy training (8 weeks to 8 months) focuses on practical raising, habit creation, socialization, and confidence building, addressing issues like house/crate training, nipping, and energy management. Programs for all dogs include private sessions, group classes, and board & train options. Private sessions are flexible, offered at home, their facility, or field trips, covering fundamental obedience and manners for dogs over 6 months. Group classes are ‘Functional Obedience’ focused, addressing one behavior or command at a time over 3-6 weeks, covering loose leash walking, recall, greeting people, and ‘place’ commands. Board & Train services offer a jump start or polish on basic commands and reactivity, with customized plans and overnight stays at Honey Creek Pet Resort. Behavior consultations address issues like anxiety, aggression, reactivity, and resource guarding, often working in conjunction with veterinarians. They also provide specialized training for working K9s in areas like Police Patrol, Detection, Tracking, and Protection.

How to Get Started!
Training programs are completely customizable. For board & train, an in-depth consultation is conducted to discuss needs and dog’s suitability. Behavior consultations require a pre-visit questionnaire. Group classes require messaging them to express interest, and they will get in touch when there’s enough interest.
