Methods:
- ✓ Balanced Training
Charry’s Premier K-9 Training offers several structured programs. The “Intro & Basic Foundation” program is designed for pups who have completed all initial vaccinations. It consists of 3 one-on-one lessons where the trainer demonstrates techniques for the owner to apply independently at home. This program covers imprinting, shaping, luring, behavioral markers, free shaping, engagement, drive building, and introductions to recall, sit, down, place, and heeling.
The “Intermediate to Advanced Obedience” program includes 6 one-on-one lessons, also with a focus on owner application between sessions. This program works under moderate to heavy distractions, covering engagement, manners, education on training tools, leash cues, hand cues, verbal cues, recalls under distractions, extended sits/stays, down/stays, place/stay, and progression from loose leash heeling to off-leash heeling.
The “Board & Train” program requires a minimum age of 5.5 months. During this intensive program, dogs receive multiple training sessions daily at various locations for exposure. Lessons are conducted with the owner on days 7, 14, and 21 to facilitate the transfer of obedience and address any questions. This program addresses imprinting, shaping, luring, behavioral markers, free shaping, engagement, manners, drive building, confidence building, environmental exposure and neutrality, minimizing negative behaviors, training tools education, leash/hand/verbal cues, recalls under distractions, auto sits, extended sits/stays, down/stays, place/stay, and loose leash to off-leash heeling. They also provide Doggy Daycare with optional one-on-one day training sessions and Boarding services.
