Clover Canine offers comprehensive training programs designed with time, patience, and love, utilizing a balanced training method with an emphasis on proper communication and positive reinforcement. All board and train camps are customized to the individual dog and owner’s needs and include real-world outings to parks, restaurants, stores, and hiking trails to reinforce training. Private lessons are provided for owners during the camp and after the dog goes home, with lifetime support for any future questions.

The 2-week camp covers basic commands like Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, and Come, and includes two private lessons, a training prong collar, a handmade 6-ft leather leash, and baths. The 3-week camp builds on this, adding an e-collar and place bed, and includes three private lessons. The 4-5 week Off-leash e-collar program focuses on off-leash reliability through slow e-collar introduction, offering a flat rate for 4 weeks with no extra charge for additional days, and includes four private lessons, a training prong collar, e-collar, place bed, handmade 6-ft leather leash, and baths.

The Puppy Prep Program is a two-part program: a 2-week stay for basic muscle memory using food, luring, and games, followed by a 3-week stay for reinforcement, public outings, crate training, potty training, and socialization. Private lessons are available at the facility, in public places, or in-home for basic obedience, specific problems, and advanced instruction. Group classes include a 6-week AKC CGC course for responsible dog ownership and certification, and a 6-week Beginner class teaching basic commands and dog training theory in a distracting environment. Rattlesnake avoidance training is also available.

A typical day for dogs in training includes morning potty time, neighborhood walks and breakfast, two training lessons, mid-day potty/play time, place bed time, dinner, and final potty/play time before bedtime. Fresh water is always provided, and dogs are rotated through several large training areas with kennels that are cleaned and maintained daily.

Testimonials

“I have been so impressed with the team at Clover Canine. My dog Lady, was a sweet- but untamed wild german shepherd. We brought her home from Bootcamp yesterday and she is a completely different dog. She is more calm and listens to and obeys commands. I understand that training will continue to be a live-long endeavor with Lady- but Alonso and Clover Canine gave Lady and my family the tools to be successful. 6 stars if I could.”

“A friend of my wife and I recommended the three week boot camp at Clover Canine for our two 1 year old Golden Retrievers. We are so happy with the training they got. We just got them home today and they are so well behaved it’s almost like they are different dogs. The team at Clover Canine were very thorough, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about not only dog training but training us, as well. We missed our pups tremendously, but it was well worth the sacrifice.”

“Our little Blu just finished his 4 week ecollar program with Clover Canine and we couldn’t be happier. Clover Canine is a WELL run business and a great experience for any pup. The property is well kept, and they thought about pretty much everything when starting the business. Garrett has two climate controlled kennel rooms, clean relief areas with sprayers to keep the dogs cool, a grassy front area for training and playing, and a training field in the back for weekly lessons. Blu was a little over 4 months old when we dropped him off. In just 4 weeks we have seen amazing results. Blu has shown great bathroom, kennel, walking, and house manners since we’ve had him home. The entire team was very helpful in helping us learn how to keep up all the work they put into our little pup and we are very grateful. We can’t wait till Blu’s first group lesson and the next chance to board him with this great business! Thank you Garrett, Shania, and the rest of the Clover Crew for all the hard work!”
