The founder, Kevin McGill, has 12 years of Law Enforcement experience with a large city Police Department, including eight years of service with the Emergency Service Unit where he worked closely with and trained with the K9 Unit. His duties included animal control, rescue, and special weapons and tactics. He is also an Emergency Medical Technician.

Kevin has handled and trained dogs for over eight years and has rehabilitated retired police dogs. He is considered an expert in K9 nutrition and Equine nutrition. He is a licensed owner and breeder of thoroughbred race horses and an 11-year member of a volunteer fireman/rescue squad. Kevin has earned 4 commendations, 6 certificates of excellent police work, 4 level two life saving awards, and a papal bar.

Clients can begin with a free training evaluation. Each canine and handler will be assessed for skill level and temperament to assure proper placement in the class that will most benefit their goals. For the Protection Curriculum, dogs and handlers must first have their dogs evaluated by the training staff to determine if the dog’s ability, health, and disposition are appropriate for protection work.
