Pricing Summary

CloverField K9 offers various pricing structures for its services. Boarding rates include $50 per day for Police K9s, $75 per day for standard boarding, $100 per day for Board and Play (twice daily exercise), and $150 per day for Board and Train (twice daily training with Laura).

Lesson prices vary by type and duration: Puppy Environmentals (30 min) are $75, Adult Environmentals are $90 for 30 min and $180 for 60 min. Agility Private Lessons (30 min) start from $90, and Agility Course Rentals (30 min) start from $25. Obedience Lessons (30 min) are $90.

Behavior services include an Initial Phone Consult (45 min) from $165, and Behavior Modification (1 hr) from $180. Scent Work lessons range from Beginner (45 min) from $165 to Advanced (30 min) at $115, with Tracking/Man-Trailing (1 hr) at $225. Miscellaneous toy sports rentals include Spring Pole (20 min) for $20 and Intro to Wall Climb for $30. GRC Club membership is $150 for up to two dogs per handler, with an additional $20 per extra dog. Seminars range in price from $100 to $670.

Policies

For private lessons, cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund, while cancellations within 24 hours will not be refunded. Reschedules are treated as cancellations. If a dog is in heat, cancellations are refunded, but re-booking is not permitted for 23 days from the notification date. For cancellations within 24 hours due to human or dog injury or illness, no refund is given, but the client can book their next appointment at 50% off for the same service and instructor.

For group classes, cancellations are not refunded. Clients may sell their spot to another appropriate dog/handler team if all original spots have filled, but not if there are still open spots in the class. An exception is made for dogs in heat, where the spot is refunded (or pro-rated for multi-week classes), and re-booking is allowed after 23 days from the notification date.

Accomplishments

Laura Holzscheiter, the owner and head trainer, founded CloverField K9 in 2013 and has almost 30 years of experience in dog training. She holds accreditations in dog training and behavioral science from Washington & Jefferson College, Cornell University, Connecticut K9, and NEDTA. Laura focused on working dogs for nearly two decades, studying under world-famous Gottfried Dildei, and qualified for the AWDF FH2 World Tracking Competition in Austria after winning the DVG FH2 Nationals.

She coaches and trains various service dogs, including Police K9s, Narcotics Detection Dogs, Search and Rescue Dogs, Human Remains Detection Dogs, Firearms Dogs, and Conservation Dogs. CloverField K9 is recognized as Vermont’s first and only complete working dog center and the first GRC Club in Vermont.

To get started with CloverField K9, clients can book an appointment online for various lessons. For behavior modification services, an initial phone consultation is required before an in-person appointment. Operational K9 handlers are directed to a specific tab for their services.
