Other specialized classes include Show Ring Handling for preparing dogs for conformation shows, Therapy Dog Training (TDI) for dogs to pass therapy dog tests, and Tricks Training, which is a titling class through AKC and “Do More With Your Dog”. About the Trainer
Coal Dogs offers a wide variety of dog training classes, ranging from puppy training to advanced competition training. Their knowledgeable instructors utilize positive-based training methods to help owners train their dogs and build a strong bond.
Each program is individually tailored to meet the needs of both beginner and seasoned handlers, as well as puppies and adult dogs, ensuring the best training experience possible. Coal Dogs aims to make training fun for both the dog and the owner.
The business was established to encourage pet dog owners to begin training their dogs, whether purebred or mixed breeds, at an early age to foster well-mannered behavior at home and in the community. They have over 20 years of experience training dogs in obedience, agility, and as therapy dogs.
Coal Dogs prides itself on training handlers with extensive knowledge, enabling them to help their pets become perfect family and performance dogs. They offer a varied menu of classes, providing small class sizes with individual attention, and operate with both indoor and outdoor training facilities.
