Coast Dogs Training offers various programs including Behavior Consulting, Dog Obedience Training, Dog Sport Training, and Walk & Train Programs. Behavior consulting addresses issues from basic problems to aggressive behaviors, with customized plans including handouts and videos. Aggression programs focus on management and behavior change, noting that aggression can be improved but not cured. A Low Stress Handling Course is also offered for conditioning dogs to vet visits, grooming, and nail clipping.
Obedience training includes small group classes and private lessons. Programs cover Puppy Foundations (safe socialization, manners, basic cues), Canine Good Citizen (AKC course for well-mannered dogs), Basic Obedience (sit, down, polite leash walking, come, settle, leave it, take it, drop it, stay), Terrible Teens (addressing common adolescent behaviors), Obedience Around Town (proofing behaviors with distractions), Leash Manners (addressing pulling), and Intense Recall. All lessons come with handouts and videos.
Walk & Train programs provide daily training sessions for busy owners, covering core behaviors and desensitization, with daily updates and weekly summary lessons. Board & Train is available on a case-by-case basis for puppy foundations.

Testimonials
“Dawn is an amazing trainer! My dog loved her and was so excited to see her at trainings. She is so good at what she does and I highly recommend her!”
– Annette Trahanas
“Hands down the best thing I have ever done for my dog and myself was to hire Dawn with Coast Dogs Training! 30 minutes into our first session and it was like I was walking a completely different dog! She is worth every penny and then some! If you are seriously considering training your pup, look no further!”
– Ryan Matthews
“Dawn is an extraordinarily dedicated and caring trainer who makes learning fun for both dogs and their owners. Our Samoyed pup Georgie and I looked forward to every training class! I left each session with a happy, tired-out pup, along with new insights into dog motivation and behavior. Over and over again, Dawn has gone above and beyond for our family, providing helpful suggestions and reference material about particularly challenging behavior, and following up to see if she could help further.”
– Bridget Rymer
