Companion Dog School

Companion Dog School offers several training programs. The Puppy class is designed for puppies aged 9 weeks to 5 months, with an allowance for older but smaller dogs if they are comfortable around bigger dogs. The Obedience class is for dogs 5 months and older, covering both Basic and Advanced Obedience. An Agility class is also available, utilizing in-house obstacles for a fun and engaging experience.

Additionally, they provide a Boarding and Immersive Training program where dogs are trained for three weeks in Pat Higgins’ home. This intensive program focuses on basic commands such as heel, sit, down, stay, and come, and also addresses behavior problems. Owners receive private lessons upon completion to learn the training methods and ensure continued success, though owner homework is required. Dogs in this program sleep in crates at night but have a large open area for play during the day.
