- ✓ Clickers

Dog training consists of 6 private lessons, ideally once a week for 1 hour, where clients bring their dog to the trainer’s place. The training focuses on building a communication system using positive reinforcement techniques, with no punishments. These private lessons help dogs learn basic behaviors before facing strange people and dogs.
After graduating from private lessons, clients are contacted when a spot opens in a group class, which includes several free sessions. The curriculum covers behaviors such as Sit, Down, Come, Stay, Wait, Leave-it, Heel, Take, Give, Drop, and can also address specific issues like potty training, barking, and digging. If a client’s schedule changes, they can text the trainer to set up a new day/time without missing any lessons.

Testimonials
“It’s such a fulfilling relief to know that I can leave my precious dog in such great hands with Compatible Companions. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend all my family and friends to go there as well.”
– Joe P.
“Sandy was great! We have a rambunctious young German Shepherd and she taught us how to train her and turn her into a well-mannered dog.”
– Susan K.
“Sandy is an amazing trainer, I was definitely skeptical as I have never been to a trainer before but she exceeded my expectations. I got my dog from another owner and she was never trained before but thanks to Sandy she was able to learn how to sit, lay down, and how to walk without pulling. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, as she also works with your schedule and is very friendly.”
– Sabreena T.
About the Trainer

Their mission is to teach owners how to have the dog they want and address unwanted behaviors. They emphasize a philosophy of “First Do No Harm,” using kind, gentle, and pain-free techniques, avoiding prong collars, shock collars, or leash jerking.
They believe in effective communication between dog parents and their dogs to establish an unbreakable bond and create loyal, well-mannered companions. The business offers private dog training lessons, dog daycare for small dogs under 15 lbs, dog boarding for small dogs under 15 lbs, and pet sitting services where they visit the client’s home.
