Complete Canine offers a variety of dog training packages ranging from puppy development to advanced obedience. They offer private lessons, which are considered the best environment for learning due to individual attention and minimal distractions.
Board and train options are available on a limited, case-by-case basis, where the dog lives with the trainer in a home setting for intensive training. Once goals are met, owners receive a lesson on how to maintain the progress.
Programs cover basic to advanced obedience, including commands like sit, down, place, stay, heel, and recall, ensuring reliability under various distractions. Behavioral modification addresses issues such as jumping, leash pulling, reactivity, excessive barking, house breaking, cat chasing, begging, running away, and fearfulness. They also specialize in competitive obedience and IPO (Schutzhund), offering private lessons for foundational stages or advanced levels in this three-phase sport (tracking, obedience, protection).

Testimonials
“Effy is a very sweet girl that was not so obedient before we met Amanda, but the difference is like night and day! Effy is now totally reliable off leash, listens extremely well with distractions, and has maintained her wonderful personality through it all. Amanda really knows what she is talking about and helped us solve problems that were unique to Effy. She articulated all aspects of training clearly so we could take control of training when she was not present.”

“Amanda is the real deal in dog training. I’ve owned Australian Cattle Dogs nearly my entire adult life. They are a remarkably obedient and loyal breed and have definitely been some of my very best friends in this life; however, during times of high drive they can be more than a bit tricky keep under control. With Champ, my most recent ACD, I called on Amanda with her expertise to help me fine tune his obedience training for a fail safe, and obedient dog even during the most challenging situations. She came to my farm and worked with us consistently for a week to lay the foundation for advanced obedience in Champ. Now, I can take the reins and follow through with his training with a clear plan to keep improving. Amanda not only has the experience and knowledge to train the dogs, but she clearly articulates the necessary concepts to the owners and makes it make sense so that you can keep the training going when you’re on your own. Champ and I will be successful thanks in large part to her. Thank you Amanda!”

“My two Dobermans, one a puppy and the other aged 3, went for training with Amanda. I am so pleased with both of them! The puppy has her basic obedience down pat and her heeling is fantastic. For my adult dog, Amanda intoduced the place command and worked to improve his heeling. This has really benefited our whole family, as the dogs now have clear messages from us in terms of what we want them to do. They are happy, we are happy!”
