Dog Training Methodology
Methods:
- ✓ Balanced Training
Equipment:
- ✓ Pinch Collars
- ✓ E-Collars
The most popular program is the Board & Train, designed to jumpstart a dog’s training and lay a foundation for a well-balanced dog. This program includes a Herm Sprenger prong collar, a Mini Educator E-collar for off-leash communication, a long training lead, the book “The Good Dog Way” by Sean O’Sea, and a Complete Transformations Equipment bag.
Commands covered include Sit, Down, Place (go to a designated boundary and stay calmly), Recall (come command), Duration work (holding a command until released), Out command (drop or leave an item/space), and Heel (walk politely on leash). The program also addresses any behavioral goals set during the initial evaluation or phone consult. After completion, there are three 1.5-hour follow-up lessons. Dogs must be crate trained, up to date on vaccines, and have a clear fecal exam within a week of their start date.

Testimonials
“So glad I started training with Monique! My dog was very reactive to other dogs and hard to manage. My dog has improved 100% and I am not embarrassed to take her places anymore!! Thank you!!”
– Carla
“Monique is awesome and easy to work with. She is a great trainer and straight forward about everything. She kept me updated with videos and such during my dogs 3 week training session. She is up front and honest and I would recommend her to anyone struggling with naughty dogs! Thank you Monique!”
– Maureen
“We started working with Monique in 2012 when we got our Doberman puppy. She was always so calm and patient with him. She taught him pretty much everything he knows and made it look really easy. Anytime we were having a hard time with something she was always there to help us through it. Now Kaiser is almost three and Monique is still there to answer any questions we have regarding his behavior. We get compliments from people almost every time we take him out about how well behaved he is. I am so grateful for everything she has done for us. Our family has complete confidence in her training abilities and the utmost respect for her.”

About the Trainer
Complete Transformations Dog Training, owned and operated by Monique Vargas, provides professional dog training services with a focus on transforming dogs and teaching owners effective communication. The business is physically located near Benson, Arizona, and serves surrounding areas including Tucson, Marana, Sierra Vista, Green Valley, Vail, Tombstone, and Sahurita.
Their unique approach not only teaches obedience but also works on the root cause of most problem behaviors, which is the dog’s state of mind. They believe that if a dog’s state of mind remains unchanged, struggles may persist even with obedience training.
Complete Transformations Dog Training uses a balanced approach, incorporating both rewards and corrections to provide clear communication and necessary feedback to dogs. Their mission is to help owners and dogs rebuild their relationship and truly understand each other, leading to an enjoyable life together. They offer services for both reliability training and behavior modification.
