Cosmic Dog Training

Cosmic Dog Training offers individual One-on-One training classes, Group Training Classes, and Behavior Consultation. All classes are one hour long. One-on-One sessions can be held at their Training Center, in-person at your home or out and about, or via video conference. These sessions are tailored for specific behavioral struggles like reactivity, lack of household manners, separation anxiety, resource guarding, and service dog training.

Group Training Classes are 6-week programs held at their Training Center. Current group class offerings include “Life Skills,” which covers out & about and off-leash freedom, household manners, relationship building, and leash skills. They also offer “Scent Fundamentals” (Nose Work I & II) and “Advanced Scent Work,” focusing on teaching dogs to use their nose to find rewards, progressing from food to objects and practical searching in various environments. A “Scent Club” is also available for continued scent work practice.

Pricing Summary

One-on-One training classes are available. Single sessions at their training facility or online are $90 per hour. For in-home visits or out-and-about sessions, the cost is $100 per hour. Package deals for training center or online are 4 sessions for $350 or 8 sessions for $690. For in-home or out-and-about sessions, 4 sessions are $390 or 8 sessions for $770.

Group Classes are one hour, once per week, for 6 weeks, costing $275. Currently, there is a promotion for $30 off Group Training Classes, making them $245. Scent Club is a monthly subscription for $50, running once a month for 3 hours.

Policies

Cosmic Dog Training operates a 7-day “think about it” policy, allowing a full refund if cancellation occurs within 7 days of booking, provided the training event is more than 7 days in the future. Outside of this period, there is a no-refund policy for all training events.

For One-on-One sessions, consultations, or Zoom calls, clients must notify the business in writing a minimum of 72 hours before the confirmed time slot for cancellations or reschedules. Reschedules under 24 hours will not be accommodated. For other event bookings, clients should notify the business in writing as soon as possible if they wish to change or swap, and the business will try to fit them into another class if there is room.

Cosmic Dog Training uses positive reinforcement and games-based, concept training methods to teach dogs new skills and reshape their brains through play. This approach focuses on equipping dogs with skills for various situations, emphasizing training for the moment rather than just in the moment.

Cosmic Dog Training operates from their center located inside The Happy Beast pet store, and also provides training at clients’ homes, out and about, and via video conference internationally. They also partner with A-OK9 to provide natural dog supplements.
