County-Wide Dog Training Club offers a wide range of classes at their indoor facility, from Puppy Kindergarten for young puppies (3 to under 5 months) to Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Obedience for dogs 5 months and older. They also provide specialized training in Agility (Intro and Agility II), Rally (Novice, Intermediate/Advanced, Masters/Choice), Scent Work (Intermediate and Advanced), Trick Dog Evaluation, Conformation, and Fit Dog (Levels 1 and 3).
Additionally, they offer AKC Canine Good Citizen and Advanced CGC classes, and Competition Foundation Skills. Classes are structured in sessions, typically ranging from 6 to 8 weeks, with specific prerequisites for higher-level courses. Some classes, like Beginning Obedience and Puppy Kindergarten, require handlers not to bring their dogs to the first session. Participants are often required to help with equipment setup and breakdown for classes like Agility.

Pricing Summary
Classes are priced based on duration: 3 weeks for $60, 4 weeks for $80, 5 weeks for $100, 6 weeks for $120, 7 weeks for $140, and 8 weeks for $160. Classes with more than one instructor will cost more. Payment is required prior to the start of class to guarantee registration.
Policies
Classes are non-refundable, except in extraordinary circumstances reviewed by the Board of Directors. Space in class is not reserved until payment is received, and unpaid registrations may be canceled if not paid one week after starting registration. Owners must bring a paper copy of current vaccination records to all classes.
Parking is restricted: daytime parking must be in front of the training building at the back Northeast corner of the parking lot, while evening parking can include the area in front of the Ice Company. Dogs should use the designated dog run in the parking area for potty breaks. Dogs should be crated when not in the ring during certain classes.
About the Trainer
County-Wide Dog Training Club offers a variety of fun and useful classes at their indoor training facility. They provide training from puppy kindergarten and basic beginning obedience through competitive obedience, rally, and conformation.
Club members are actively involved in various dog activities including obedience, agility, conformation, tracking, earth dog and hunt tests, field trials, lure coursing, and draft dog tests, as well as pet therapy. The club is involved in community affairs such as the AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day and organizes annual obedience and agility trials.
They aim to create a better relationship between owner and canine companion through positive reinforcement and strong leadership, developing good communication and enjoyment.
Accomplishments
The club received an Honorable Mention for Best Dog Obedience School in Sonoma County. Instructors hold various credentials, including Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT), professional membership in the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and certifications from Marin Humane Society’s Canine Instructor Training Academy. They are also AKC Scent Work judges, NACSW judges, Sniffing Dogs Nose Work judges, certified Trick Dog Instructors through Do More With Your Dog, and AKC CGC, Farm Dog, Fetch, and Fit Dog evaluators/judges.
Instructors have extensive experience, with one having over 50 years in the sport of obedience as an exhibitor and instructor, and as an AKC Obedience and Rally judge. Many instructors have earned multiple competition titles on their dogs in various sports including Obedience, Agility, Rally, Conformation, Scent Work, and Trick Dog.
How to Get Started!
To register for a class, clients can either register online using PayPal or a credit card, or download, print, and mail a Class Application form with a check. Walk-in registrations are not accepted; prior registration is required. It is advisable to contact the club registrar to verify space availability, especially for mail-in registrations close to the class start date. For Beginning Obedience and Puppy Kindergarten, students should not bring their dogs to the first class session.
