Cruisin’ Canines offers group classes structured as 5-week sessions, meeting once a week. Levels must be completed in order, starting with Level 1. Private lessons are also available as hour-long, one-on-one sessions.
Classes include: Companion Class (Level 1) for essential home skills; Community Class (Level 2) for obedience in public settings; Off-Lead Class (Level 3) for off-leash response; Trick and Therapy Class for therapy certification and tricks (requires Level 2 completion); and Speciality Class (requires Level 2 completion).

Pricing Summary
Companion Class (Level 1) is $200. Community Class (Level 2) is $200. Off-Lead Class (Level 3) is $225. Trick and Therapy Class is $200. Speciality Class is $225. All classes are once a week for 5 weeks.
About the Trainer
Cruisin’ Canines is a local dog obedience training facility located in Arab, Alabama. They focus on developing the dog/handler relationship, improving communication, and creating a positive bond between dog and handler.
The business was established in 2022 by Katie Cruise, who was mentored by Kitty and Jim Thompson of South Paw Obedience Training. Katie’s goal is to establish a proper relationship between dogs and their handlers through various methods and techniques, encouraging owners to enjoy their time with their dogs.
Accomplishments
Cruisin’ Canines was established in 2022 by Katie Cruise, who trained and mentored under Kitty and Jim Thompson of South Paw Obedience Training. Katie began her training career at age nine and has trained her border collie, Mississippi, in AKC rally and obedience trials, competing at top levels and placing at the AKC Rally National Championships.
After completing Community Class (Level 1) and Companion Class (Level 2), clients can achieve AKC Canine Good Citizen and/or Trick Dog Titles for their dogs.

To get started, clients should review the Pre-Class Preparation page before booking. Classes can be booked online, with the ‘book now’ option based on the first week of the class session. For private lessons, clients should contact Katie Cruise directly for availability.
