The Board & Train program involves dogs staying 24/7 in a structured environment, focusing on obedience foundations (Name Recognition, Recall, Sit, Down, Stay, Place, Leave It, Wait, Loose-leash walking) and behavior modification for issues like aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, and crate anxiety. This program includes weekly group training for owners and a 2-hour transfer session.

Private Training is conducted in-home or at other locations, addressing puppy training, manners, obedience, aggression, reactivity, leash training, jumping, barking, fearfulness, and separation anxiety. Puppy Day Training focuses on obedience, socialization, confidence, loose leash walking, behavior modification, and impulse control, with dogs rotating through one-on-one training, distraction training, and crate training. Structured Daycare maintains client dogs’ training through recall, impulse control, place work, and crate training, providing positive socialization and relaxation time. Initial consultations are required for first-time clients, available both in-facility and at-home.

Pricing Summary

Custom-K9 Dog Training & Boarding offers various pricing packages. Consultations are available at $80 for an in-facility session (15-30 minutes) or $199 for an at-home session (1-1.5 hours). Board & Train programs are priced at $3,800 for 3 weeks and $4,800 for 4 weeks, with basic boarding available at $100-$125 per night.

Private training packages include a Single session for $199, a 3-session package for $600 (includes 2 group workshops), and a Gold package for $1,000 (includes 5 private sessions and 4 group workshops). Puppy Day Training costs $1,400 for 12 days (includes 2 group sessions and 1 at-home private training) or $2,600 for 24 days (includes 4 group sessions and 2 at-home private training). Structured Daycare is $100 for a single day, $900 for a 12-pack, and $1,650 for a 24-pack. First-time clients are required to purchase a Facility Consultation for most programs.

Policies

Custom-K9 Dog Training & Boarding has a comprehensive liability agreement. Owners represent their pet is healthy, vaccinated, and on flea control. Owners acknowledge inherent risks of injury or illness in a cage-less environment and assume full responsibility, holding Custom-K9 harmless except for willful misconduct. Owners are liable for any damage or cost incurred by their pet, including property destruction or injury to others.

If a dog displays repeated aggressive behavior, it will be confined to a kennel, and may be asked to leave permanently if behavior continues. Dogs abandoned for more than one week become the legal property of Custom-K9, with owners responsible for incurred boarding charges. A strict leash policy requires all dogs to be on leash in the lobby, parking lot, and immediately outside premises, with owners liable for any incidents if their dog is off-leash.
