Roberts Training Center offers two main training programs: a 3-week Obedience Training Program and a 3-month Field Training Program.

The 3-week Obedience Training Program, costing $2,300.00, uses positive reinforcement with praise and kindness. It covers basic commands such as sit, down, heel, stay, and come, both on and off leash, aiming to build a strong relationship between the dog and owner.

The 3-month Field Training Program, priced at $3,500.00, includes birds, boarding, and all lessons. This program features weekly owner visits and personal one-on-one lessons with the trainer. It incorporates essential obedience commands like sit, down, heel, stay, and come, on and off leash. Field skills taught include steadiness to shotgun fire, retrieving ducks to hand, working from platforms or tents, double retrieves among decoys, flushing pheasants within gun range, whistle control, and retrieving pheasants to hand, with emphasis on scent work and following handler’s direction. All training is conducted on-site, utilizing the facility’s pond and upland game cover.

Pricing Summary

Boarding is $35.00 per night for one dog, or $30.00 per night per dog for two or more dogs. Optional playtime is available for an additional $5.00 per day per dog.

The center also boasts a state-of-the-art, fully enclosed playtime structure for safe and secure dog play.
