Blown AWAY! Is what me and my wife are. We brought our Rottweiler Maverick to Trisha because he had major confidence problems and some light behavior/aggression towards our smaller dog. Immediately she came in. Set expectations, showed us in 10 minutes a side of Maverick we had never seen! Here we are 3 months later and Maverick is a new dog. He can walk off leash almost perfectly. Listens on command the first time. Excellent behavior and is constantly complemented on how well behaved he now is. Her training approach incorporates her trusted canine partners, Athena and Colt, and she works with all breeds and behaviors—including aggressive, fearful, or rescue dogs. Dawg Phonics also offers boarding, pet gear, and adoption services for trained service dogs, and supports the Tampa Bay Retired K9 Foundation through community events and fundraising.
Trisha provides hands-on training for owners to build confidence and consistency, ensuring long-term success. She uses tools like e-collars only as attention-getters when properly taught, and emphasizes positive, effective communication over punishment.
