– Lacie Lee, D.V.M Sherwood South Animal Hospital
“In my opinion, the level of time and expertise that Denise extended to the entire group was far beyond what would be considered ‘normal’ services. I whole-heartedly recommend the services of Ms. Landin and Diamond in the ‘Ruff’ Dog Obedience Training to anyone who owns a dog.”

About the Trainer
Diamond in the “Ruff” Dog Obedience and Training is led by Denise Landin, an experienced dog trainer with 34 years in the field. Her philosophy centers on the belief that “there are no bad dogs, just untrained ones,” emphasizing the importance of teaching dogs acceptable behaviors. She focuses on helping owners become effective “Pack Leaders” for their dogs, recognizing that each dog and owner pair requires a tailored approach.
Denise offers a variety of training options, including group classes, advanced training, and private lessons. She believes it’s never too late to train a dog, but advises against putting young puppies in group classes until they are properly vaccinated, recommending around 3 months of age for group settings.
A significant advantage of enrolling in Diamond in the “Ruff” is the Lifetime Guarantee offered on all Group Lessons, allowing owners to re-attend training sessions at no additional charge for the life of their dog. Testimonials describe Denise as a “Dog Whisperer” who brings peace and harmony to families through her training services.
