Testimonials
“A friend used your board and train program with great reviews. I needed help desperately for my fear aggressive dog. I’m so very grateful for Robert Gallant who trained my dog for over two weeks also with the board and train program. Worth every single penny. Sure, I missed my dog but I knew he was in good hands. I thoroughly enjoy my dog even more than before. He walks instead of dragging me, rides like a champ in the car, and allows guests to come in and behaves while they are there. Couldn’t be any happier with the outcome!”
– Laura
“I have known and worked with Robert for a few years now when he worked for another company. I’ve always been so impressed with his knowledge & professionalism. He is totally dedicated to training all the dogs he’s working with to become the best they can be. Robert would come to my house once a week for several weeks doing lessons and pointing out various ways to make the training more meaningful. We both learned so much and, of course, practiced every day all the techniques Robert had shared with us. After several weeks of reinforced training and the extra training Robert provided for taking the certification test from Therapy Dogs International (TDI) to become a therapy dog, Casey took the test and passed easily, all thanks to Robert. Casey now visits Mercy Hospital once a week & brings joy to many patients & staff. Robert has done an outstanding job with Casey and I. He has become a great friend to have. I value his friendship and will forever be grateful for the excellent training he did. I highly recommend Robert.”

“I can’t even begin to describe the level of service we received from Robert. He promised us ‘2 weeks, or as long as it takes’—and he kept his word. Throughout the process, he gave us weekly updates and never once gave up on our massive beast of a dog that we took in at 2 years old. Five weeks later, we received our graduation video, and our dog came home transformed! We know we still have homework to do, but the change is truly remarkable. Robert is simply amazing—dedicated, reasonable, and genuinely caring for the dogs entrusted to him. Thank you, Robert, for giving us not just results, but peace of mind.”

About the Trainer
Diamond in The Ruff Dog Training is a premier dog training business founded in 2005, helping dog owners transform rambunctious, out-of-control dogs into calm, obedient companions. Led by trainer Robert Gallant, the business offers personalized in-home training and a two-week Board & Train program where dogs live with the trainer and return fully trained with a graduation video. Owners receive a one-hour follow-up session to learn how to maintain the training. Additional services include Puppy Programs, Therapy Dog Prep, Advanced Training, and Boarding for dogs who have completed a Diamond Program. Robert’s approach combines positive reinforcement with practical, real-world techniques, and he is known for his patience, dedication, and deep care for both dogs and their families.
