Christina offers individualized training programs including basic and advanced obedience, rally training, and behavior modification. Sessions are tailored to the dog’s needs and owner’s goals, with options for private in-home lessons or group classes. Training is ongoing and adaptable, with a focus on building confidence and reliability in real-world settings.

Christina is a certified dog trainer with the Animal Behavior College (ABC) and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). She specializes in positive reinforcement-based training and is also a C.L.A.S.S instructor and AKC CGC Evaluator. Christina offers private, in-home training sessions and group classes in rally obedience, basic and advanced obedience, and behavior modification. She has extensive experience working with rescue dogs, timid or fearful dogs, and service dog candidates through her work with “Train a dog, Save a Warrior” and as former Director of Training for K9Battle Buddies. Her clients praise her kindness, flexibility, and ability to build trust with shy or reactive dogs, helping them become confident and well-behaved companions—even able to fly on airplanes. She adapts her schedule to meet client needs and focuses on creating positive, lasting change for both dogs and owners.

Christina’s training methods are rooted in current research and emphasize patience, consistency, and reward-based techniques. She helps owners overcome challenges like leash pulling, reactivity, barking, separation anxiety, and fearfulness, enabling them to enjoy public outings and social interactions with their dogs again.

She has trained dogs for over two years with some clients and has helped families transform their pets from anxious, barky companions into calm, well-adjusted members of the household.

Accomplishments

Christina is certified by the Animal Behavior College (ABC), is a C.L.A.S.S instructor, and an AKC CGC Evaluator. She is a member of the APDT and has served as Director of Training for K9Battle Buddies, a nonprofit supporting service dogs for veterans. She is also a Service Dog Trainer with “Train a dog, Save a Warrior.”
