Dilis Dog Academy

Tom turned our 5 year old rescue into a new dog, well behaved dog. Before she was very anxious and aggressive around kids, people, and other dogs now she is calm and we have her in control. I am now able to take her to pet stores and public places and don’t have to worry. Taking her for walks used to be very stressful now she remains calm at our side the entire time even. I couldn’t be happier with the results, highly recommend!

So sent my rescue Leo out here to Tom and his Team over here in Marengo IL. & its the best solution to mine and Hubby’s newest addition to our family. Leo was a diamond in the rough and I saw his potential being a new breed rescue to me. I am handicapped individual who knows somewhat about dogs but has very little patience for training now being older and handicapped. Tom very knowledgeable in ALL DOG UNIVERSE…(breed’s temperaments as well as if a possible workable dog. TECHNIQUES FOR Correctional behavior modification for the owners of the dogs is a huge must and Tom does go over all that info as well explaining and showing differences. He demonstrated to both my hubby & i the best way to communicate to Leo where Leo understood us. He gave examples to the suggestions on how to adjust to a situation he just trained Leo in. Even I, being handicapped, can still get the same result from Leo just by tweeking a bit from Tom to do my version – yet it works out well for both Leo & I to get the communication right. Even after we got home, we had to text a couple of times for a follow up question to Tom which he encourages. I have no problem & feel 100% comfortable texting Tom for help in future. Very easy relaxing to talk with and yet my DOG ALSO LOVED BEING THERE AND THE CHANGE OF STRUCTURE!!!! WE SAW HOW LEO FLIPPED FROM NIGHT/DAY DOG FROM WHEN WE DROPPED OFF- STARTED OUT WITH 3 WEEKS (extremely reasonable $$ being for whole week over nights/weekends …(minus food-the obvious ) boarding and I’m paranoid(yeah crazy) about leaving my pooch(child) anywhere without me or some sort of sitter . No worries here leaving with Dilis Dog Academy…family oriented for sure with members of all ages involved in the extended family business. WE DID ADD ANOTHER WEEK FOR A TOTAL OF 4 WEEKS (so easy & accomadating to change it too). HE WAS DEFINITELY READY !!!…WE ALL WERE READY TO SEE WHAT LEO LEARNED & WE COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED WITH WHAT WE WATCHED DURING PRESENTATION. ***GHT)my hubby even said to me, after the 4 weeks training here over at Gilis w/ Tom & Team, seeing the difference in Leo over the past first 2 days/nights of him being home……100% WORTH EVERY PENNY EVEN THOUGH IT DID COST ALOT( FYI..my hubby not know anything about dogs or pricing or anything Cuz Very reasonable compared to what I’ve been quoted out in Dupage Area.)
