Dog Guard Out of Sight Fencing utilizes a digital radio signal transmitted through a thin underground wire to establish safety perimeters. Pets wear a comfortable collar with a small receiver that emits an audible warning or mild correction as they approach the boundary. If the dog continues to advance, a second field provides maximum correction to prevent escape.
Each installation is customized to protect pets from specific areas like driveways, pools, or gardens. The training process involves marking the boundary with flags, and dog owners are instructed to spend fifteen minutes, twice daily for two weeks, walking their dog on a leash around the flag boundary. During this time, if the dog moves towards the flags, they are told “NO!” and then moved away and praised. Highly-trained pet behavior specialists work with owners and pets during the initial process to ensure clear training techniques and boundary understanding.
