Dog Pond Kennels offers a four-week long Obedience Camp where dogs stay at the facility to provide a better focus and consistent routine. This camp aims to build a better language for communication between dogs and owners through one-on-one prescheduled visits. They work with all breeds of dogs and help with issues like pulling on leads, coming when called, jumping on others, digging, chewing, counter surfing, kenneling, and excessive barking.
In addition to obedience, they provide gun dog and retriever competition training, and conditioning. Dogs staying for training or boarding have exercise opportunities around the property and at the pond, along with socialization with other dogs. Requirements for participation include updated vaccination records (Rabies, DHLP, Parvo, Bordetella) and booking dates in advance.

Dog Pond Kennels LLC was founded in 2010 by Laurie, Glen, and Travis Williams. They are conveniently located on 50 acres between Thomasville, Georgia, and Tallahassee, Florida, featuring two training ponds and indoor kennels.
They offer premier boarding in indoor, climate-controlled kennels with 24-hour, seven days a week supervision and socialization opportunities. Their services also include a month-long obedience training program and gun dog training. Laurie Williams, the owner and trainer, emphasizes creating a balanced and rewarding journey for dogs and their owners, believing that obedience helps dogs become better citizens. They also offer doggie daycare and sell Labrador Retriever and German Shorthair puppies.
