Testimonials
Calvin and his team were undeniably on target with every expectation I had for training my dog. My puppy went to training at 3 months, I was in need of a service dog. And this was the best place in my opinion after doing extensive research. He is now a well trained 8 month old puppy that is also very well behaved. The 3 months away from my pup was tough but do able with video calls and arranged meetings were I got to see my puppy and the progress so far. Communication was daily. They went above and beyond. You also get training equipment and gear. Even helping getting vets visits knocked out. This process can be expensive but I can’t explain how happy I am with my experience during the whole rewarding process. And the training doesn’t end there they also ensure that you and your dog are still in good hangs after the initial training. When I bring him with me to Dr appointments at the Va or even bring him to help me run errands everyone is so impressed with how he acts in public. I must add that he is also completely house broken when I got him back and he is wonderful with my 3 small children. Thanks so much I tell everyone about your company.

Madison trained our 8 year old reactive lab and proves that old dogs can learn new tricks. Our dog was unable to walk or leave the house without pulling to the point of choking himself, now we are able to take him to trails, parks, and around the neighborhood with a collar. He learned new commands like leave it and place which have also helped us in feeling comfortable when taking him in public. I know our lab enjoyed training because he was excited to see Madison each time we dropped him off, and a bonus was that he felt comfortable around Madison’s dogs by the end of training.

Calvin, Lydia, and the whole team at Dog Tags Training Academy are wonderful! They’re not just great trainers–they’re kind, patient people who really care about helping you and your dog feel supported every step of the way.
My 7-year-old pit bull struggled with severe dog reactivity, and walks were extremely stressful for both of us. Living in an apartment made it impossible to avoid other dogs, no matter how hard I tried. We needed real help, and with expertise and compassion, the Dog Tags team worked through his reactivity and helped rebuild my confidence too.
The progress has been incredible. We recently spent three hours on a busy restaurant patio with tons of other dogs around, and my dog relaxed under my chair the whole time! Something I never would have believed if I hadn’t seen it for myself.
I’m so, so grateful to this team. If you’re looking for trainers who know their stuff and truly care, I can’t recommend them enough.
