Testimonials
“I cannot say enough good things about Brad & Ashley! The passion and love they have for these dogs is unmatched! Our 2 boys had very different needs when we started. Our 3-year-old Frenchie, Gus, ruled the house, and our 9 1/2-year-old, 95-lb. pitbull, Bruno, was afraid of the world, which made him reactive to strangers and unfamiliar dogs. We were never able to cut his nails unless he was sedated (which was only twice for medical). In the 1st week Brad had him comfortable with a muzzle and trimmed his nails! He now does it regularly without issue! Bruno especially thrives under their guidance. He has confidence. He does agility (albeit like a Buffalo ). They have taught us the importance of routine, structure, and the proper tools. Are we perfect at home, no and I wish our life allowed us to be better, BUT the change and manageability we now have is something I cannot put a price on or thank them enough for! It requires work! It’s not magic! But they deserve it, and we could not do it without Dogtaoist!!”

“I brought my 7 month old rottweiler to Brad to learn some manners and boundaries. Within a few sessions I already saw such a huge difference in his behavior. Brad did a home visit to see him interact with my 14 year old pitbull. T-Rex was playing a bit to rough for my older pup. He taught me and T-Rex how to gently play without hurting my old man by accident. Within a few weeks T-Rex now knows place at my home and stays up to 15 minutes. He walks gently on the leash and most importantly has learned boundaries. I also have two children that are 35lbs ,well T-Rex is over 110lbs. Even though not intentional, T- Rex leans or jumps and I ended up with hurt child. But he has all together stopped that and plays and enjoys my children and my older pup without anyone worried about a huge puppy knocking them down. He stopped jumping on my mom, who has a colostomy bag. The improvement with his behavior is absolutely amazing and within just weeks of training. I can’t wait to see what months of training can do for him. The possibilities of where we can take T-Rex are endless. I can’t wait to see where Brad, Ashley and his team can take T-Rex. Not only are they amazing trainers, but amazing people. They work with you on a budget. They communicate well and give my 4 year daughter snacks. lol..They truly care and the work they do with families is life saving. I couldn’t of asked for a better fit for my family. Don’t look any further. Brad and his team will be the only trainers you will need for the life of your pup!”

“I can’t say enough about my experience at the Dog Taoist. Brad and Ashley are incredibly kind, patient and understanding people. I came across their page when a friend of mine was posting his dog at their training facility. I reached out to him to see what he had to say about his experience and I’m so glad I did. At our assessment Brad took the time to answer my many, many, many questions (and still does) and address any concerns. When I learned they used prong collars I almost backed out. I told my husband no way, I couldn’t do it. They took the time to educate me and put me at ease with how this training tool is used. This training has been invaluable to our family. We now have two young nieces and I’m more comfortable having them at the house now that we have more control of the dogs. Before this we would take the dogs out individually bc Louie was too rough with Ella and I never thought he’d learn to just be nice to her. Well here we are enjoying our backyard with both dogs outside at the same time and Louie respecting her boundaries. He needs reminders sometimes but that’s ok bc the progress has been incredible. I love that the Dog Taoist understands that these dogs are pets… Family. And while we still need to respect the species, they understand that we are training them to just be able to be obedient, harmonious and co existing with their humans and that I don’t need them to be hyper obedient show/work dogs. Working with Brad and Ashley has been a joy and so easy. We are so lucky to have had them come into our life. Thank you Dog Taoist”
