Testimonials
This is an excellent place for dog training, just north of downtown urbana. Three indoor rings, 2 huge outdoor rings, and extensive parking and land. Experienced instructors and a wealth of classes and events in obedience, rally, agility, and other dog sports like scent work.
This is an akc facilty, but they are more than welcoming of mixed breed dogs and shelter rescues. There is a required progression for the classes, as there should be. You start with Home Companion (basic beginner obedience) and at the end of the class you take the Canine Good Citizen test. If you pass, you move on to other classes. If not, you take the test and/or the class again. Some dogs need repetition here, and that is ok. The goal is primarily to have a well behaved dog that will respond to your commands.
