Testimonials

Miri is an incredible dog trainer – I don’t know what we would have done without her. We had a really challenging time training our dog Sharki post surgery (2 TPLOS!) and Miri has been a lifesaver.
She is creative, meaning, she does not see all dogs as the same, and understands that different things might work for different dogs. She doesn’t make assumptions, asks the right questions, and actually listens to what you want to work on with your beloved pets.
She really does explain her methods to the humans (who also need to be trained) in a way that you can understand – which was the missing piece for us. We had tried many trainers in the past with no success. Miri helped us understand why our dog might be behaving the way he was, and identify what to work on first, which was great because we had many different areas for improvement.
We started with lose leash walking which made an immediate difference in our daily lives, gave us instant relief, and was a good way to build trust with our pup. We also had more complicated and specific concerns – how to keep him calm when guests come over, de-sensitize him to the his nemesis, the vacuum cleaner , and prepare him for life with a human sibling. Miri helped with each part, giving expert advice and hands on help. She gave us the basic tools to implement new training routines, and we feel much more confident in helping Sharki find routine and safety with us.
Sharki also really needed some anxiety medicine, and Miri helped us think through and consult the right people to make that happen.
His life and ours is greatly improved by the relationship we were able to build with him with Miri’s help.
Plus, he LOVES her.
Highly recommend to anyone and everyone with any dog – even the more challenging ones.

Miri helped us tremendously with a behavior quirk of one of my dogs. The quirk made going on walks difficult at times, so Miri’s help was a great help. She taught me what to do, and I am doing that daily with my dog, and can see my dog changing her behavior slightly every day. Miri stressed that patience is the key to success, and I’m following what she taught me patiently. It is amazing the difference in how the household operates when you change or “fix” one seemingly small activity. Try it! You’ll like it!

We’re very thankful for the job that Miri has done with our pug Max and us. We came to her because Max was lunging and barking at all dogs. The walks with him were very stressful; we couldn’t take him to walks in the park because he will go crazy at the sight of any dog. Within a few sessions, Max was able to be around Miri’s dogs without reacting, and within a few weeks, Max went to the dog park for the first time!!! He was off leash, around dogs, close to them big and small, and he didn’t bark or lunge at them. This was a big moment for us because we thought this was never going to happen. He still has more work to do and progress, but the progress we seem so far is amazing. Since the consultation, Miri has given us tools that we can use, and thanks to her we now feel more confident working with Max and take him places. In addition, Miri worked basic obedience commands, and also worked with us at home to deal with Max barking at cars that drive by it. Miri was very patient and accommodated the training sessions to our schedules and to what we wanted to get out of each session.
