Private sessions are one-hour, in-home sessions focused on obedience, problem behaviors, or temperament issues, with optional coaching for owners or trainer-led training. Group classes include Puppy (10 weeks–5 months), Beginner (6+ months), Intermediate (requires prior obedience skills), and Trick Dog (AKC Novice), all 6-week sessions held at local venues like Tractor Supply Co. and Khaki Hound. Family Paws programs (Dogs & Storks, Dogs & Toddlers) are available virtually or in-person to prepare dogs for new babies or toddlers. All classes require proof of vaccinations.

Pricing Summary

Private in-home sessions: $80 per session; packages of 2–8 sessions offer discounted rates ($150 for 2, $360 for 6, $440 for 8). Mileage fee of $2/mile over 20 miles. Group classes: $135 for 6-week sessions. A $35 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot in group classes. Payment accepted via Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, cash, or check.

Policies

No refunds for private sessions or group classes. Private session packages must be paid in full by the first session; mileage paid at first session. Rescheduling allowed with 24-hour notice (except emergencies); no-shows are not rescheduled. Group classes require a $35 non-refundable deposit. Vaccination records must be provided before participation. Dogs with offensive aggression or females in heat are not permitted in group classes. Unvaccinated dogs are not allowed.

She offers private in-home sessions and group classes for puppies, adult dogs, and families preparing for new babies or toddlers. Rhonda is certified through Animal Behavior College, is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and serves as an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator. She is also studying to become a certified Service Dog Trainer and is a licensed educator for Family Paws, specializing in preparing dogs for life with infants and toddlers.

Her training programs address common issues like fearfulness, reactivity, leash pulling, separation anxiety, and excessive barking. She provides structured 6-week group classes in obedience, tricks, and intermediate skills, as well as customized private sessions.
