DogJoy offers both single drop-in classes and multiple-week courses, covering everything from puppies to adolescent dogs, advanced skills, and off-leash training. They also have a Reactive Rover class for dogs that may not do well in a typical group setting. Classes are primarily held indoors in a climate-controlled training room, though some may move outdoors as needed.
Pricing & Policies
Policies
DogJoy is unable to offer make-ups or discounts if a class is missed. If a client cancels or reschedules 7 or more days before the class start date, they will receive a full refund, minus a 3% administrative fee. There is a 50% cancellation fee for cancellations or reschedules made less than 7 days but more than 72 hours before the class start date. No refunds are provided within 72 hours of the class start date/time.
About the Trainer
DogJoy is a training and enrichment center located on a beautiful ten-acre ranch in Pflugerville, Texas. Their priority is the safety and well-being of dogs, striving to create and reinforce stronger relationships between people and their pets. They believe in helping people build great relationships with their dogs through proven, positive reinforcement methods.
In addition to dog training, DogJoy offers boarding, their R.E.P.S. program (Reinforce, Enrichment, Play, Socialize), and a Splash & Play Park. They also carry raw dog food, premium toys, and other retail items. These additional services are available to their training clients and members.
Accomplishments
Briana Stringer is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). She is also a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator. Briana was voted “Most Awesome-ist Dog Trainer” in 2012 by the Austin Pet’s Directory.
She has traveled to numerous dog training seminars and workshops to continue her education, learning from experts such as Ted Turner, Ian Dunbar, John Rogerson, Terry Ryan, Pat Miller, Jean Donaldson, Gail Fisher, Kathy Sdao, and Trish King. Briana also helped create the Williamson County Kids-N-K9s program, which aids at-risk youth in training shelter dogs for adoption.
How to Get Started!
To join a group class, clients need to select the desired class(s) and complete the registration form. This includes submitting payment and uploading a current copy of their dog’s vaccination record from their vet. Proof of vaccinations must be received before the class start date.
