Dogs In Bloom offers custom Canine Camps and one-on-one in-home training. They custom design programs to suit each dog’s unique personality.

Canine Camp programs are intensive board and train options. The 10-Day Tune Up is for graduates of the 2 & 3 week camps, offering refreshers on obedience and behavior issues, including public field trips. The 2-week program focuses on basic and advanced on-leash obedience for easy-going dogs without major behavioral issues, covering walking properly on leash, sit, down, stay, and come when called. It includes a remote collar system, slip lead, training cot, and one 60-minute transfer session. The 3-week program expands to basic to advanced on and off-leash obedience and behavior issues, including proofing in real-world situations with multiple field trips. It covers sit, down, stay, proper walking, place, no rushing thresholds, “out” (leave it/drop it), recall, boundaries, potty training assistance, crate training, and behavior issues like barking, jumping, mouthing, separation anxiety, fear, confidence building, resource guarding, and aggression. This program includes equipment, two 60-90 minute transfer sessions, communication updates, complimentary bath & nail trim, client education, and lifetime support. Dogs with high anxiety/fear or aggression may require additional time.

Boarding is exclusively for Canine Camp graduates, providing a fun family environment with daily structured play groups and reminders of training and manners. In-Home Training includes Puppy Essentials for puppies 10 weeks to 6 months, covering name recognition, potty training, crate training, introduction to basics (sit, down, recall, place), and collar/leash walking. Private One-on-One Training sessions are also available.

Testimonials

“We love Tracy and her Dogs in Bloom Training. Your dog will “bloom” in to the best dog. We had hired other trainers, purchased courses and books, and did everything we could to eliminate Peanut’s fear based aggressive reaction to some people, dogs and loud noises. We had tried everything and realized that we needed an expert who worked with dogs with issues. We are so happy we found Tracy. She is amazing and cares about your dog as much as you do! She helped our dog become calmer, less reactive and responsive to our direction. Tracy gave us the tools to ensure our family succeeds. We are so happy we hired her! After we hired her we found out our vet recommends her services too!!! Tracy Rocks!!!”

“I adopted a rescue dog recently, he was 7 years old and had been in the shelter for around 6 months. He had been returned to the shelter twice for aggressive behavior, he bit me twice, but I didn’t want to give up on him. I felt that this would be strike 3 for him. I had no way of knowing what he had been through in his life. He seemed like he wanted to bond with me but he was having a hard time trusting me. So, I called Tracy. She came to my house and we talked about Rusty. She recommended a few sessions with her at our house. WOW!! What a difference in just 2 weeks. She knew what Rusty needed and worked withus till we bonded. I would recommend her to anyone who needs or wants training for their dog.”
– Robert Edwards

“Tracy is fantastic! She is very knowledgable and has helped us with everything from potty training techniques, crate training, basic commands, e collar training, and everything in between. Tracy is patient and passionate. I would highly recommend Dogs In Bloom. You won’t be disappointed!”

About the Trainer

Dogs In Bloom – Dog Training is a dog training business owned and operated by Head Trainer Tracy, located on the Treasure Coast and serving all of South Florida. They specialize in individualized custom training programs in a unique home setting, working with only a few dogs at a time to ensure special attention and lasting results.

Tracy’s journey into formal dog training began 6 years ago after adopting a challenging dog. She has since apprenticed under accomplished trainers and served as an in-house trainer at a No-Kill animal shelter for 9 months. She understands the struggles families face with dog behavior issues and aims to keep dogs in loving homes.

Dogs In Bloom uses balanced training methods, working with each dog’s natural qualities to find what motivates them. They offer programs for a variety of behavioral issues, including fear, anxiety, lunging, jumping, leash pulling, aggression, and severe reactivity towards humans and/or other dogs. They work with dogs of all breeds and do not discriminate.

Their services include Canine Camp (board and train programs), Boarding for camp graduates, and In-Home Training, including Puppy Essentials and Private One-on-One sessions. They focus on getting to the root of struggles rather than just applying “band-aids,” aiming for overall well-being, happiness, and balance for the dog.

Accomplishments

Tracy, the Owner and Head Trainer, has spent 46 years loving animals, especially dogs. Her formal dog training journey began 6 years ago after adopting a challenging dog. She has personally rehabilitated two of her own dogs with severe behavioral issues, including reactivity, biting, lunging, and jumping, through structure, leadership, boundaries, and clear communication.
