Testimonials
“Double D Dog Training has been a lifesaver for me and my very high spirited dog Maizee. With the training that Dean provided, Maizee and I were able to communicate, connect and enjoy each other so much more. Dean is truly a “dog whisperer”. Maizee is so much calmer now that she has learned that speech has meaning. Thank you Dean for making our lives better.”

“Dean was a pleasure to work with! He did a great job helping us teach our Goldendoodle, Bevo, some basic, but very important commands! We have seen a huge improvement in Bevo’s behavior since we started the training and just wish we had contacted him sooner! I can’t recommend Dean enough!”
– Heather G.
“I recently rescued my 2 year old chihuahua mix, Princess, and wanted her to learn basic commands. Dean was amazing with Princess…….and patient with me as I learned to give the commands . Our last session was a few days ago & we’l miss our weekly time with Double D. If your dog needs basic or advanced training, I highly recommend reaching out to Double D! I guarantee you’ll be happy with the results.”

About the Trainer
Double D Dog Training provides private, in-home dog training using positive reinforcement methods. Dean Duet, known as Double D or “Dog Dude,” is the professional dog trainer who works with families to teach valuable training methods and techniques. His goal is to help dogs become well-behaved, well-mannered members of the family, whether they are rescues or pure-bred dogs.
The training is personalized and conducted in the comfort of your home, which is particularly beneficial for pups who haven’t completed all their shots. Dean aims to transform pups into well-behaved family members through collaboration, expertise, and a personalized plan. He also addresses challenges such as strained relationships when one partner is not on board with a new dog, parents feeling overwhelmed when kids lose interest in dog care, and unexpected difficulties for seniors welcoming a puppy.
Beyond training, the website features recommended supplies for puppies, dog beds, crates & pens, books for “pawrents,” and items for separation anxiety and grooming. Dean has past experience as a dog groomer and is Pet First Aid and CPR Certified. Pet sitting is also listed as a service option.
