Dog Training Methodology

Methods:

  • Balanced Training

The training process begins with an initial in-home session lasting 90 minutes to 2 hours, which includes an assessment and foundational work. Based on this, a customized game plan is recommended. Programs can consist of various service types. In-home sessions after the initial assessment are one hour long. Day Camp options, where the dog trains at Mo’s home, include 8-day or 16-day programs (Mon & Tues, 10am-2pm), or day-by-day sessions. These include video of training, video instruction, and personal instruction, with owners practicing between camp days and a post-camp in-home session. Board & Train programs are reserved for serious cases, requiring a minimum 2-week stay at Mo’s home. The “One & Done” service is a single 2-hour in-home visit for problem-solving and coaching. Video coaching is available for clients who cannot do in-home sessions, lasting up to one hour per call, but is not for new rehab cases. All clients receive ongoing support via calls, texts, and resources at no charge.
