Dream Dog School offers dog obedience classes. For Golden Retriever puppy owners from True Grit Golden Retrievers, Ganetta Savoy provides free online obedience support for the lifetime of the dog, including real-time video lessons. This commitment aims to help puppy owners raise their “Dream Dog.”
The breeding program at True Grit Golden Retrievers includes extensive owner interviews, daily detailed training logs on all puppies, and temperament testing. They offer customized services to meet the unique needs of individual working or pet homes, accommodating special needs of owners and unique puppy personalities.
About the Trainer
Dream Dog School, led by Ganetta Savoy, offers dog obedience classes. Ganetta Savoy is a highly experienced trainer who began training her first competition obedience dog in 1981, achieving high scores and winning the Dog World Award. She has been teaching dog obedience to the public, training, and competing with dogs since 1982.
Beyond training, Ganetta Savoy also operates True Grit Golden Retrievers, a breeding program focused on producing quality Golden Retriever puppies from proven, long-lived, working lines. Her passion extends to breeding and mentoring new puppy owners, providing lifetime resources and support. The business also offers pet sitting, professional grooming services including baths, nail trims, and haircuts, and safe pet transportation to vets or groomers. Additionally, pet boarding services are available in a safe and comfortable environment for extended periods.
Accomplishments
Ganetta Savoy trained her first competition obedience dog in 1981, achieving scores of 199, 198, and 197 1/2 out of 200, which earned the Dog World Award. She has been teaching dog obedience to the public, training, and competing with dogs since 1982.
She is a Professional Level Obedience Trainer and dog obedience instructor endorsed by NADOI. Ganetta earned her UD (Utility Dog title) with her Golden Retriever, Speaks, and has 15 years of involvement in employment, breeding, training, and competing with the Golden Retriever breed. She maintains club affiliations, supports local clubs, adheres to the Breeder Code of Ethics, and continuously grows her knowledge through mentoring from experienced trainers, breeders, and club members.
