Du Bay Dog Training

Du Bay Dog Training offers three main service types: one-on-one training, day training, and classes. One-on-one training begins with an in-home or virtual consultation to assess the dog’s needs and set goals, with subsequent sessions held in the client’s home, at the trainer’s facility, or another pre-determined location.

Day training is conducted at a specialized facility in Stevens Point, where the trainer takes on the primary training work, and the dog returns home each night. This service requires a prior consultation. Group classes are offered in the Stevens Point area, including Puppy Basics and Socialization for puppies 3-6 months old, Basic Obedience for dogs over 6 months, and Intermediate Obedience for dogs over 6 months who have completed a prerequisite obedience course.

Training bundles are available for 4, 6, or 8 one-hour sessions, which can be in-home, at a pre-determined location, or virtual. These bundles offer a discount and must be used within a specified timeframe (12, 18, or 24 weeks respectively). A consultation is required before purchasing a bundle.

Pricing Summary

Consultations (in-home or virtual) are $150.00. Individual training sessions (in-home, virtual, or facility) are $100.00. For in-home services, the price includes 60 miles round trip from Mosinee, with an extra $1/mile for additional distance beyond 30 miles from the home-base. Group classes are priced at $125.00 for Puppy Basics and Socialization, and $150.00 for Intermediate Obedience.

Discounted training bundles are available: a 4-session bundle for $392.00 (3% discount), a 6-session bundle for $570.00 (5% discount), and an 8-session bundle for $744.00 (7% discount). A consultation is required before purchasing any bundle. A free discovery call is offered.

Policies

A 10% fee is deducted from all refunds to cover processing costs. For classes or day training appointments, a 90% refund is issued if cancelled at least one week before the start date; otherwise, the price is forfeited. For individual appointments, a 90% refund is issued if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time; otherwise, the price is forfeited. Clients may reschedule an appointment once after paying; a second reschedule will result in a 90% refund, requiring the client to re-book and pay in full again.
