Testimonials

“Jim Durham is an outstanding dog trainer! He worked with my Doberman, T’Challa, and the results have been incredible. Jim’s expertise, patience, and ability to connect with dogs (and their owners!) truly set him apart. From day one, he took the time to understand T’Challa’s personality and tailored the training to fit his needs. Not only did T’Challa master obedience and leash manners, but he’s also more confident and well-behaved in all situations. Jim provided clear guidance, practical techniques, and ongoing support, making the training process both effective and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated trainer, Jim Durham is the best. I can’t recommend him highly enough!”

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the care our large dog received from Jim Durham at Durham Kennels while my wife and I travel abroad for extended periods of time. If you are like us, it is difficult leaving your beloved dog behind as you travel. Not just because we miss our dog but also because we tend to feel guilty about having to board her for long periods. Whenever we board our dog at Durham Kennels we are relieved knowing that she will get great care while there. This last time we even noticed how nicely groomed her coat was and how good she smelled when we picked her up! Quite a bonus given our particularly large and shaggy dog! We have discovered that other nearby kennels do not board large dogs and/or are not always available for extended periods during the year. This is one more reason for how thankful we are to have Durham Kennels close by where we live in Berea, KY. Finally, I think Jim cares for our dog like he does his own, which is perhaps the highest compliment I can offer about his kennel services.”
