Dog Training Methodology
Elite Dogs offers a range of training programs designed to suit individual dog’s needs, focusing on building confidence and verbal control. All obedience programs work on fourteen obedience commands, address specific client problems, and aim to achieve client goals.
The process often begins with a Private Consultation, which is arranged prior to attending a training program. This consultation allows the team to evaluate the dog, discuss client goals, and recommend appropriate tools, techniques, and a training program.
Private Instruction provides one-on-one training, including four private sessions and three group classes, covering basic obedience commands and specific behavioral problems. The Board and Train program is their most thorough option, where dogs board at the facility for three weeks to establish a solid obedience foundation. This intensive period is followed by a Handler Instruction phase, consisting of four hours of private sessions and three group classes.
Group Maintenance Classes meet weekly, allowing dogs to practice learned commands in a distracting environment. These classes are available for dogs that have completed a private training or board and train program, designed for reinforcement and maintenance. In Home Training offers a tailored regimen in the client’s own environment, focusing on unique needs and specific goals, building on foundational obedience commands and addressing particular challenges.
Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary
Boarding fees are $45.00 per day for one dog, $70.00 per day for two dogs (shared kennel), and $90.00 per day for three dogs (shared kennel). Only dogs that live together may board together. Boarding rates are charged like a hotel: the first day is charged regardless of drop-off time because the dog stays overnight. If pick-up is before 12:00 pm on the final day, that day is not charged.
Training programs include a Private Consultation for $50.00, which applies towards training programs. Private Instruction costs $500.00 and includes four private sessions and three group classes. The Board and Train program is $1500.00, covering three weeks of boarding and training, followed by four hours of private sessions and three group classes. Group Maintenance Classes are $5 per class. In Home Training is $1100.00. A $150 deposit is required for Private Instruction, Board and Train, and In Home Training programs, and program costs do not include equipment.
Policies
For training programs requiring a deposit, the $150 deposit is fully refundable if cancelled up to two weeks before the first session (Private Instruction), two weeks before the drop-off date (Board and Train), or two weeks before the start date (In Home Training).
For boarding, the first day is always charged regardless of drop-off time, as the dog stays overnight. However, if a dog is picked up before 12:00 pm on the final day, that day will not be charged.
Health requirements for both boarding and training include proof of current DHLPP (Distemper Combination), Bordetella (“Kennel Cough”), and Rabies vaccinations, which must be provided no less than three days prior to the service. Dogs that have been in any type of pound or rescue are not allowed on-site for at least twenty-one days after being home. Dogs must be free of fleas and ticks; if a dog is brought in with them, a bathing fee of $25 to $35 (depending on size and coat) will be applied for their comfort and the comfort of other dogs.

How to Get Started!
To begin, clients can arrange a Private Consultation, which is a required step before attending a training program. During this meeting, a skilled team member will evaluate the dog and discuss the client’s goals to recommend the appropriate tools, techniques, and training program.
Clients can request a reservation for boarding or training dates through an online form on the website. This form initiates the process, and a team member will contact the client to confirm the requested dates. Facility tours are offered daily after 11:00 a.m. for those who wish to visit.
