Elite Versatility

Elite Versatility offers a variety of training programs including Obedience Classes, Therapy Dog training and certification, In-Home Obedience, Wild Game Recovery, Shed Hunting, Upland Bird Hunting, and Waterfowl Retriever Training.

Obedience Classes are small in size, run for 8 weeks, one hour per week, and include Basic and Intermediate levels. Basic Obedience covers on-leash obedience (sit, lay, stay, heel), place training, e-collar conditioning (optional), and preparation for vet checks, with the AKC Canine Good Citizen test administered at the end. Intermediate Obedience includes off-leash training, outdoor training, and public socialization.

Game Recovery training helps dogs use their noses to locate downed game, which can be an add-on to the Shed Dog program. Retriever Training, primarily a Waterfowl program, teaches dogs to swim, retrieve on land and water, experience gunfire introduction, run blind and marked retrieves, sit steady through gunfire, and search for game. They also discuss options for retrieving trials or tests.

Upland Bird Hunting program focuses on developing a dog’s natural hunting ability, desire, and drive, including high-level obedience and retriever training, and steadiness for pointing dogs. Board-to-train programs house dogs indoors in a home setting, providing twice-daily feeding, brushing, nail trimming, bathing, daily exercise, socialization outings, and love.

Elite Versatility, LLC is a family-operated dog training business founded in 2019 by John and Brittany Beyer, based out of Bloomer, Wisconsin. Their main objective is to train happy, eager-to-work companions, drawing on years of experience in competitive and recreational hunting dog training and studying dog behavior.

They offer a variety of training programs including Obedience Classes, Therapy Dog training and certification, In-Home Obedience, Wild Game Recovery, Shed Hunting, Upland Bird Hunting, and Waterfowl Retriever Training. Their training philosophy emphasizes positive reinforcement, calm minds, clear expectations, and consistency, utilizing blended training methods.

A unique advantage is their board-to-train program, where all dogs are housed indoors in a “home” setting. These dogs receive twice-daily feedings of Purina Pro Plan, brushing, nail trimming, bathing, daily exercise, socialization outings, and plenty of love.

Beyond dog training, Elite Versatility also encompasses health and fitness for K9s and people, offering nutrition/supplements and recommended products, including their own apparel.
