Pricing Summary

The Deaf Dog Training Camp is an 8-week program priced at $3200. Dog Boot Camp offers a Basic Course for 4 weeks at $3,000 + tax, and a V.I.D. (Very Important Dog) Course for 4 weeks at $5000 + tax. Custom courses are available with variable pricing and duration.

Puppy Camp Level I is 4 weeks for $2100, and Puppy Camp Level II is 8 weeks for $3600; an additional $400 applies if the dog is not house-trained/crate-trained. Dog boarding for graduates costs $45/day for small dogs and $55/day for large dogs, with add-ons like Treadmill/Physical Conditioning ($10/day), Refresher Training ($10/day), Bath ($30), and Nails and Ears ($15).

One-on-one in-home training costs $250 for an initial two-hour evaluation and training session, with individual follow-up sessions at $200 per hour. Training conducted at the Empire K9 Training Center is $225 for the initial two-hour evaluation and training session, and $175 per hour for individual follow-up sessions. All dogs attending training must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including distemper combination, rabies, and bordetella. A current fecal test (within 30 days) that is negative for parasites and giardia is also required. Additionally, all dogs must be on flea/tick preventative at least one week prior to attending, and heart-worm preventative is recommended for warm weather months.

The training at Empire K-9 is led by James Pearson, who possesses over 15 years of extensive and diverse experience. He served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer, specializing in K-9 handling and training. James has also worked as a consultant in the field of working dogs on several government contracts worldwide, including for the Department of Defense, Department of State, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, foreign governments, and large Private Security Companies.

For the past 22 years, James has worked extensively as a Training Consultant and Behavioral Specialist with individual clients and their pets, refining an effective and efficient approach. He has a successful track record working with all breeds and temperaments. James holds certifications as a Master Dog Trainer, Military/Police K-9 Handler, Police K-9 Trainer and Instructor, and in Pet Dog Training and Behavior Modification.

How to Get Started!

To begin the training process, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve a training spot. Once the deposit is placed and the spot is reserved, clients will receive a behavioral questionnaire and additional paperwork to complete the enrollment process. For one-on-one training, the initial step involves a two-hour evaluation and training session.
