All training is private, in-home, and customized. The first session is a 2-hour intensive with all handlers present. Follow-up sessions are hourly at $90. Clients receive photo/video updates and 24/7 text support. Private daycare is available for dogs not ready for group settings, including puppies, reactive dogs, or those not spayed/neutered. Boarding and daycare require a private training session first. Training focuses on behavior modification, obedience, and building trust between dog and owner.

Pricing Summary

Dog training: First session $200 (2-hour intensive), $90 per additional hour per dog. Boarding: $80/weekday, $90/weekend. Group daycare: $50 for small dogs (39lbs-), $80 for large dogs (40lbs+). Private daycare: $80 for dogs in training, $100 for non-training, $150 for aggression cases. Dog park rental available via Sniffspot with code FUNways_5off. No-shows or cancellations under 48 hours are charged in full.

No shows or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full. All dogs must complete a private training session before joining group daycare. Payment for boarding is due in full at booking.

Fenway’s Runway is a dog training business founded in 2014 by Care, a lifelong dog lover and certified trainer with over a decade of experience in veterinary clinics and behavioral training. Care provides private, in-home dog training tailored to each dog and owner’s needs, with 24/7 text support and photo/video documentation of every session. She also offers dog boarding, daycare (both group and private), and dog walking services at her clean, safe home with a large backyard near Petco Park in San Diego. Her private dog park is available for hourly rental via Sniffspot, and she specializes in helping dogs with reactivity, separation anxiety, resource guarding, fearfulness, and socialization. All training is customized, and she emphasizes building strong bonds between dogs and their families. Dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments are welcome, including puppies, seniors, and those with aggression or trauma histories.

Care’s approach is rooted in compassion and hands-on experience, with her rescue dog Fenway serving as a model for socialization and behavior. She believes in training the whole family, not just the dog, and ensures every pet receives individual attention. Her services are designed to prevent injury and promote long-term harmony in the home.

Additional services include pet sitting, dog daycare, and boarding with flexible drop-off/pick-up times, and she hosts monthly dog social events.

Fenway’s Runway is not a facility-based group class provider — all training occurs in the client’s home or at Care’s private property, ensuring personalized, real-life application.

Accomplishments

Fenway’s Runway was founded in 2014 after Care left veterinary clinics to focus full-time on preventing dog injury and death through behavior training. Her rescue dog Fenway, a trained service animal, has helped many dogs overcome fear and socialization issues. Care has over 10 years of hands-on experience working with dogs in clinical and behavioral settings.

How to Get Started!

Prospective clients must fill out the Pet Form and book a meet-and-greet to begin training. All services start with a private, in-home session to assess the dog’s needs and create a customized plan.
