About the Trainer
Fidelity K9 is a dog training business founded by Steve, who envisioned staying connected to his customers and their dogs. The business aims to remain small and will operate entirely out of Steve’s family home starting February 1, 2025, where training originally began.
Fidelity K9 has trained thousands of dogs, including service dogs for military veterans, therapy dogs for hospitals and senior care facilities, protection and sport dogs, and countless family dogs. Their training philosophy is centered on communication, motivation, and trust, aiming to teach dogs to trust their trainers and reward only good behavior. Their motivational training core involves weaning dogs off treats to rely on praise as a reward.
While they will no longer offer grooming services, they will continue to provide groom training to help dogs have more relaxed grooming and veterinary care experiences. Fidelity K9 emphasizes “accurate training, producing faithful obedience.”

How to Get Started!
Clients can begin by choosing a free training assessment based on their dog’s age: puppy (under 8 months), teenager (8 to 24 months), adult to geriatric, or advanced training.
