Manners classes, part of the “Adventure Ready Series,” include Adventure Ready Puppy (4 weeks, for 8-20 week old puppies, covering basics like potty training, nipping, crate training, and foundational skills), Adventure Ready Dog (6 weeks, for dogs over 12 weeks, focusing on engagement in new environments, loose leash walking, and recall), Adventure Continues (6 weeks, building on foundation skills with distractions and preparing for the Canine Good Citizen test), and Advanced Adventures (6 weeks, preparing for the Community Canine (CGCA) test with advanced distractions and public manners).

Sport classes are designed to build a bond and provide mental and physical enrichment. These include Intro to Nosework (6 weeks, teaching dogs to associate with birch scent and search for it), Nosework Skills (6 weeks, introducing competition-style searches like multiple hides, high hides, and vehicles), Nosework Puzzles (weekly drop-in for practice and trial preparation), Sport FUNdations (6 weeks, building skills for various sports like agility, rally, and obedience, including tunnels, jumps, and heeling), and Tricks (6 weeks, teaching various tricks with the option for AKC Trick Dog title evaluations).

Canine Fitness Training focuses on conditioning and strength. Programs include Intro to Fitness (6 weeks, learning foundational exercises like back up, side steps, and pivots, and proper warm-up routines), Canine Crossfit (weekly drop-in for students who have completed prior fitness training, utilizing professional equipment), Virtual Fitness Class (4 weeks, online via Zoom, focusing on shoulders, rear, and core with household items), and Advanced Virtual Fitness Class (4 weeks, online, building on fitness routines with more advanced skills). Private Canine Fitness Programs, such as the Fit Pup Program, offer personalized plans and one-on-one instruction for specific goals like weight loss or sport conditioning.

Private lessons provide one-on-one attention and flexible scheduling for specific goals or dogs needing less distraction. These include The Fitnacity Pup Program (6 half-hour sessions for manners, focusing on key skills in a new environment) and The Sport Pup Program (6 half-hour sessions for sports like Rally, Nosework, or Tricks, offering individual attention).

Pricing Summary

Group classes range from $126 for 4 weeks to $189 for 6 weeks. Canine Crossfit offers a $20 drop-in option. Private programs, including Fit Pup, Sport Pup, and Private Canine Fitness, are priced at $290 for 6 sessions. A summer sale offers $10 off all group classes until May 26th.

Policies

To participate in group classes, dogs must be comfortable and friendly around other dogs and people, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Specific age requirements apply to puppy classes (8-20 weeks). For advanced classes like Adventure Continues, Advanced Adventures, Nosework Skills, Nosework Puzzles, Sport FUNdations, and Advanced Virtual Fitness, dogs must have completed prerequisite classes or receive approval from Lela. Dogs with prior injuries must be cleared by their veterinarian to participate in any fitness training.
