Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary
Classes are priced at $25-30 per class, with most foundation and handling classes lasting approximately 75 minutes. Private and group lessons are $80 per hour. The outdoor Bomber Field can be rented for $50 per hour.
For workshops, working spots range from $175 for half-day sessions to $275 for full-day sessions. Auditing spots are available for $30 per day or $80 for a full 3-day weekend pass. A $25 “potty accident fee” is charged for accidents in the facility.
Payment for classes is required before the start of class and can be made via cash, check, or online. For daytime a-la-carte classes and evening/block classes, payment is obligated for all scheduled classes regardless of attendance.
Policies
Clients are requested to arrive no more than 15 minutes before class and ensure their dog has relieved themselves prior to entering the facility. Dogs must be crated when it is not their turn, and clients are required to bring their own crates. Seating is limited, so bringing one’s own chair is recommended.
For facility cleanliness, clients must bring two pairs of shoes (one for outdoor/dog activities, one for turf) and wipe shoes clean after using the outdoor field. The use of food and toy rewards is encouraged, but crumbly food should be avoided, and any dropped food must be picked up.
Dogs should be exercised before, after, and between ring time, and a $25 “potty accident fee” is charged for accidents inside the facility. Clients must clean up after their dogs outdoors using provided “poop buckets” and keep dogs away from buildings and fences when exercising. Female dogs in season are permitted with “panties” and prior approval.
For weather-related cancellations, notifications are sent via email and Facebook three hours prior to class. If a client decides not to attend due to weather, they should inform the business and prioritize their safety. Payment for classes is generally non-refundable and required regardless of attendance, though exceptions may be considered in rare circumstances. For workshops, a 90% tuition refund for working spots is issued only if the spot is successfully filled, otherwise no refund is provided. Audit spots are eligible for a 50% refund.
About the Trainer
Five Points Training offers dog agility training specifically geared for competition, located in Rush, NY, outside of Rochester. The business is co-owned and instructed by Lori and Joel Basa, both of whom have over 10 years of experience in the sport.
They provide varying levels of agility classes, divided into “Handling Classes” for experienced teams and “Foundation Classes” for those just starting. They also offer private and group lessons, which can be customized to focus on specific skills.
