Susan, the owner and head trainer, has a background in Psychology and Community Counseling and previously worked in mental health. She opened Flat Creek Pet Care, a luxury pet boarding facility, in 2010 and expanded to offer dog training services in 2016 due to her passion for helping owners with behavioral issues.

Susan, the owner and head trainer, graduated from Longwood College with a degree in Psychology and Community Counseling. She worked for 10 years in the mental health field and volunteered with local animal rescue groups.
