Testimonials

My almost 5 year old Belgian Malinois grew to have a severe case of separation anxiety whenever I’d leave the house w out him(which became almost never at this point) . Scott could see how Jaxon acted at the thought of not having me in his sight… Instead of telling me all the things I did wrong to my dog for him to behaving this way, he adapted to a different approach of his training. I think as dog lovers we are human and instinctively we go into protection mode if we get questioned about our dogs behavior . Scott, not once made me feel like I had to defend my actions for Jaxons behavior . Scott could see I spoiled my fur baby but he didn’t lecture me or try to make me feel like an incompetent dog owner . He allowed me and Jaxon to train together while he slowly built a playful, trusting, banter w Jaxon . This allowed him to give my Jaxon time to relax at his own pace and not throwing him immediately into training which would have been very stressful conditions . I am grateful and impressed in just one session I already can see a transformation in Jaxon . It’s like he’s saying to me…. “Thank You Mom for not leaving me alone on my first day of school and you did good , I really like my new teacher, Scott . I’m going to show you I am your good boy and I love you for all your sacrifices . Now let’s go back and see Scott again, that was fun ruff ruff, woof woof ” . So if you have a fur baby that sufferes from separation anxiety , there’s is hope . Or if you are wanting a trainer that’ll evaluate your dogs needs emotionally and physically… Take them to the Foothills Dog Ranch and let Scott transform yours like he did mine . 1/16/2025 I will update after all training sessions are done .

I have been struggling to train my eight month old German Shepherd mix. I am disabled and fear that my very strong puppy will knock me over. I desperately needed help to help me control him. I called Scott and he spent over 50 minutes talking to me and just a few pointers that he gave me over the phone it was amazing. He really cares about animals and he is very knowledgeable. Don’t waste your time calling other trainers in this Yuma. I’ve tried and no one can beat his caring and compassion about training animals. Thank you Scott!
