Behavior Modification Programs begin with a 1.5-hour consultation that includes a phone or email discussion, an in-person history and dialogue with the dog present, observation, an explanation of the approach, a personalized education packet, a written summary of the meeting and initial assignments, a written report to the veterinarian when necessary, and email or phone access to Leea for questions. Following the consultation, individual working sessions or 3- or 5-session packages continue with behavior modification and training techniques for both the owner and dog, with ongoing communication between sessions.
Private Training sessions are customized to meet specific needs and goals, from puppy to senior companion. These sessions help owners become confident handlers, effectively train new manners or strengthen existing skills, problem-solve common behavior issues, and explore new ways to connect with their dog, such as Agility or Tricks and Games training. The first session includes an initial consultation to assess training needs, and all programs are individually designed, requiring full owner participation for successful results.
Tellington TTouch™ is a hands-on bodywork and training methodology designed to support animals through stress, problem behavior, trauma, or aging. It uses massage-like strokes and guided movement exercises to strengthen the body-mind connection, reduce stress and fear, enhance learning, redirect habitual patterns, build confidence, and ease pain. Private TTouch sessions include discussion, observation, professional bodywork, tools, guided movement exercises, clear guidance for home practice, and a training notebook. TTouch may also be integrated into Behavior Modification Programs for complex behavior issues.

Policies
Foranimals will work directly with clients to impart contemporary animal behavior knowledge. Successful programs depend on learned skills by both the pet and owner, and behavior requires ongoing practice. In cases involving dog aggression, behavior may be modified but the dog is never considered “cured,” and the pet’s behavior is ultimately the owner’s responsibility. Leea Foran makes every reasonable effort to outline necessary steps but makes no guarantees of performance.
Leea will no longer address extreme bite cases; dogs with aggression issues and a history of seriously biting/injuring humans or dogs should seek help from a veterinary behaviorist. All client information is held in strict confidence, and with permission, behavior training information may be shared with a veterinarian for coordinated care. Foranimals does not sell or give mailing information to marketers or businesses.
Testimonials
“Leea is lovely to work with and had a great deal of respect for my animals and me. She is very patient and both the dogs and I appreciated that! I have worked with other trainers and found her to be the best. I would highly recommend her for any dog training.”
– Rita Q., Lenox, MA
“Last September I called you in a panic because I was going on vacation and was worried about my three dogs and the anxiety they have whenever I go away. They usually stop eating altogether and tear up everything they can—even with a live-in sitter. It has been so bad that I have had to shorten my trips. You gave me great suggestions that I began to implement before I left and the dog sitter continued while I was away. Your ideas worked like a charm. When I got home they were well fed, happy to see me, and calmer than when I left them. Thank you, now I can take a trip without taking a guilt trip! I know the dogs will do fine and be happy.”
– Elaine G., Hadley, MA
“Max had terrible separation anxiety and I was out of options. My veterinarian recommended I contact you. His anxiety lessened after the first session. By the 4th session he was relaxed and happy with no more chewing things up and no more house soiling. Now if Max has occasional accidents, I can pin point why, and make simple adjustments. When Max looks at me with his big brown eyes I imagine he’s saying, “Thanks for a second chance at my life.” Thank you for believing in both of us.”
– Bill G, Pittsfield, MA
