Foundation First K9

Foundation First K9 offers training that focuses on building confidence in dogs and improving communication between dogs and their owners. They specialize in training working dogs, including police and military dogs, with expertise in various detection disciplines such as narcotics, explosives, ammunition, money, search & rescue, and cadaver detection. They also highlight a “Scent Detection” program.

Foundation First K9, LLC is a family, 1st responder, and veteran-run business dedicated to making good friends and great dogs. Their motto is “The dog comes first. Always. Ego has no place in dog training.” They aim to bridge the communication gap between owners and their dogs, believing that effective communication allows for limitless accomplishments.

Accomplishments

Foundation First K9 is the largest supplier of police and military dogs in the Caribbean. They have over 30 dogs working in the Caribbean, Afghanistan, and the United States. Many of these are dual-purpose patrol/detection dogs.
