Frog Dog Canine Services offers customized training packages to fit individual dog and owner needs. Their programs are designed to set a strong foundation and guide owners in training their dogs, with the understanding that the dog’s training level depends on the time owners spend working with them daily.

Puppy Classes include Basic Puppy (3 in-home lessons for new, unvaccinated puppies covering house training, kennel training, luring for basic commands like Come, Sit, Down, jumping, and chewing), Star Puppy (for fully vaccinated puppies, focusing on proper care and Canine Good Citizenship preparation), and Puppy Bootcamps (an intense 5-day course for fully vaccinated puppies aged 4-8 months, building basic obedience and confidence).

Lifestyle Packages are for well-behaved dogs needing skill building and focus, not behavior modification. These include Basic House Dog (2 private lessons) and Basic Companion (2 private lessons and 6 months of group training).

Premium Packages are discussed individually and range from building basic skills to behavior modification. Options include Private Training (single trainings and lesson packs), Day Train (dogs come to their facility for full days of training, with duration decided with a specialist), and Bootcamp (complete immersion training at their facility, with duration decided with a specialist). All premium packages include 1 year of basic group training.

Group and Private Use of Dog Area options are also available. Basic Group is for beginners, while Advanced Group focuses on off-leash skills and acquiring titles like CGC or therapy dog. A 4500 sq ft dog area is available for private use at $20.00/HR for dogs that may not be dog-friendly or for owners who prefer private off-leash time.

Pricing Summary

The full training fee is due prior to the delivery of equipment or provision of any instruction, and is deemed earned at the start of training. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 per dog is incurred for any refund or change of training program, in addition to fees for any time, lessons, or mileage rendered. No refunds are offered once training has started. A $50 fee is charged for any returned check, and instruction will be discontinued until the fee is paid.

For boarding and day care, all fees are due at the time of booking. A full refund is issued for cancellations made before 2 weeks of booking. Cancellations within 2 weeks of booking may result in up to a 50% charge, and cancellations within 36 hours will not be refunded. Private use of their 4500 sq ft dog area is available for $20.00/HR. Gift certificates are also available for training packages.

Policies

All training sessions are scheduled by appointment, and customers are responsible for contacting their trainer to schedule. Appointments begin and end at the scheduled times. If a client is more than 15 minutes late for a service, the session may not be accommodated, and the session credit or payment will be forfeited.

Rescheduling must be done 24 hours in advance of the lesson. Failure to do so may result in a $75 cancellation fee, which must be paid before rescheduling. Private sessions must be completed between one and no more than 3 weeks between each session, and all lessons become void 15 weeks from the initial start date.

For boarding and day care, if a client is more than 15 minutes late for drop-off, they may be unable to accommodate the dog. If more than 15 minutes late for pickup, the client may incur another full day of boarding charge.

Customers are responsible for the control, conduct, and training of their dog, and are solely liable for any injury or damage caused by the dog. If a dog is aggressive, the customer must use a muzzle during all training sessions and is responsible for avoiding potentially problematic situations, as there are no guarantees that aggression will disappear with training. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations, and must be in good health without symptoms of contagious illness within the past 30 days; ill dogs will be sent home. Customers must also provide all details of any bite history.

She has a particular affinity for “hard cases” and dogs that others might overlook, believing all dogs deserve a strong training foundation.

Carlena is an AKC Evaluator, qualified to assess dogs for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC), AKC Community Canine (CGCA), and AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU) titles. She is also an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Instructor, helping owners and their puppies get off to a good start. She is committed to continuously furthering her education, certifications, and training skills.
